About Our Lady of Victory Rosary Mission

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our beautiful new street mission: Our Lady of Victory Mission.

Kathleen, our Founder, was inspired on September 15, 2025, when she saw a post about “How to Start Your Own Jericho Walk.” Unsure where this would lead or exactly how it would work, she soon invited a couple of ladies from the Prayer Warriors Team to help lead this mission. Sandra and Lydia graciously accepted the invitation.

How It Works

The team identifies areas in need of spiritual breakthrough and marks these on a map. They then provide the group with a meeting point, date, and time. During these gatherings, participants pray using reflections, scripture, the rosary, or other guided prayers lead by Sandra and Lydia.

This mission runs during the spring and summer seasons for group walks on location to pray over the mapped areas, evangelization and prayer and intercession. Participants are also encouraged to pray for the intentions in their personal prayer time.

About the Mission

Godly Women with Faith Catholic Ministry is taking prayer to the streets through Our Lady of Victory Mission. Through prayer walks, evangelization, Marian devotions, and in-person prayer, we unite in faith to ask God, through the intersession of Our blessed Mother to break down spiritual walls and bring renewal to His people.

Mission Identity

The Our Lady of Victory Mission is inspired by the biblical account of Jericho (Joshua 6) and dedicated to Our Lady’s intercession. Just as the walls of Jericho fell through prayer, unity, and obedience, this mission seeks to break down spiritual, emotional, and societal walls through prayer walks, Marian devotion, and public witness of faith.

Purpose

To unite Catholics in prayerful walks, invoking Our Lady’s maternal protection to consecrate communities, families, and cities to Christ, while praying for walls of division, sin, and despair to fall.

Goals

  1. Prayerful Intercession – Covering local communities in prayer.
  2. Marian Devotion – Walking under the guidance of Our Lady.
  3. Public Witness – Making faith visible as a sign of hope.
  4. Breakthroughs in Faith – Praying for personal, communal, and societal renewal.
  5. Support & Unity – Strengthening women in faith and mission.

Mission Map Component

  • Before the Walk: A simple map of the chosen area (parish, block, hospital, city square). Mark starting point, walking path, and special prayer spots. Consecrate the map to Our Lady and sprinkle holy water or blessed salt.
  • During the Walk: One member carries the map, each participant has a digital copy. Write prayer intentions directly onto the map (peace, healing, vocations).
  • After the Walk: Lay hands on the map and pray a closing consecration. Completed maps are kept as part of a mission prayer journal.

Special Features

  • Themed Intentions: Each walk has a dedicated focus (healing, peace, family, vocations).
  • Feast Days: Organize major walks on Marian feasts (Our Lady of the Rosary, Our Lady of Lourdes).
  • Seasonal Schedule: Walks take place in spring and summer, with a break in winter.
  • Inclusion: Those unable to walk may participate from home with a copy of the map.
  • Mission Symbol: Carry a small Marian statue, rosary, banner, or image of Our Lady during walks.

Scriptural Foundation

  • “By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encircled for seven days.” (Hebrews 11:30)
  • “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” (Matthew 18:20)
  • “With God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)

Through this mission, the ministry will walk in faith like Joshua, under the mantle of Our Lady, trusting her intercession until every wall falls.
