The 33-Day Preparation for Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary (According to St. Louis Marie de Montfort) is a personal devotion in which a person prepares oneself spiritually to become Consecrated to Jesus through Mary.

Please Note: The Consecration can only be completed by the individual themselves; it cannot be done on behalf of any friend or family member. However, we wholeheartedly encourage you to invite your family, children and friends to register and join you on this wonderful, spiritually uplifting, and life-changing journey.

Participants spend 33 days prior to the Consecration preparing themselves interiorly through spiritual readings from the Bible and other Catholic resources (such as True Devotion, Imitation of Christ, etc.) and praying a series of prayers.

When we Consecrate ourselves to Mary, we surrender ourselves to the loving guidance of our Blessed Mother, which is aligned with the will of God. Just as Jesus entrusted Himself to the care of the Blessed Virgin, we too can place ourselves under her maternal of protection. By doing so, we allow Mary to nurture our growth in discipleship and conform us closely to the image of Christ.

Here’s the answer of a great Saint and theologian, Louis de Montfort:

“Just as in nature there are secrets enabling us to do certain natural things quickly, easily and at little cost, so in the spiritual life there are secrets which enable us to perform works rapidly, smoothly and with facility.” (True Devotion to Mary, No. 82)

Why is it that so many souls make such great efforts to achieve holiness, but make little progress?

It is because they have not discovered this secret to holiness: the Secret of Mary.

This “Secret of Mary”, that St. Louis de Montfort teaches, is a special method to consecrate ourselves to Jesus through the hands of Mary. In the words of this Saint, it is the “safest, easiest, shortest, and most perfect way” to unite ourselves perfectly to Jesus and become saints (cf. True Devotion to Mary, No. 55).
